I never heard about him until today after watching What's My Line with Sean Connery and Meeker on panel. Someone commented Connery emulated Meeker, so will have to educate meself. I can see from these clips he had presence. The scene on speedboat parallels Fleming's On Her Majesty's Secret Service..and Meeker looks very Blondish.

Great actor. He certainly possessed an undeniable charisma.
